Open Call: European PermaJam | October 11-13
APPLICATIONS TO JOIN THE UTRECHT HUB ARE NOW CLOSED
Are you interested in climate justice and playful media? Do you already have experience in making games? Challenge yourself to make computationally minimal video games and realtime media artworks during the upcoming Permacomputing Game Jam!
In October, Creative Coding Utrecht will become a Local Hub for the European PermaJam 2024 hosted by Fabbula! The theme of the jam is celebrating spontaneous playfulness and climate justice. Permacomputing applies the principles of permaculture –caring for people, caring for the earth, sharing resources equitably– to the digital world, offering radically sustainable approaches with a focus on utilising already available computational resources.
Among other prizes, each hubs winners get to be exhibited within the main exhibition of Octobre Numérique - Faire Monde Arts & Technology festival in Arles, (France). Each hubs winning entry competes for the main Permajam prizes, awarded by an international jury and the public on November 6.
