Internship for a Video Content Creator

Creative Coding Utrecht is looking for a Video Content Creation Intern. Deadline 19th July
CCU is the platform for digital creativity. We support creators, connect organisations and sectors, inspire audiences, and share knowledge with hobbyists and IT professionals. Our values are rooted in exploration, critical thinking, collaboration, transparency, hands-on work, and inclusivity. We organise workshops, meetups, concerts, exhibitions, residencies and much more. CCU also has developed the educational programme Piece of Code, which focusses on playful and creative methods for an accessible approach to the digital world. Piece of Code engages with teachers, youth workers and schools to organise workshops for 12-17 years olds.
In 2024 CCU has become a Zoöp, an organizational model where all forms of life (zöe) collaborate. A Zoöp ensures that non-human voices and interests are heard and considered in the decision-making and working practices.
We are looking for an intern with a passion for video content creation. You feel confident in shooting and editing engaging short and long form video for social media channels. You get excited about discussing creative ideas with others and enjoy working with a diverse group of people.
Duties and Responsibilities
Filming and editing videos to showcase the atmosphere of our events and workshops (showreels, recaps)
Taking location shots at our office in the Hof van Cartesius
Filming interviews with collaborating artists and residents
Creating aftermovies for our biggest public events, such as the yearly conference ITERATIONS
Creating video content for socials and web
Requirements
In touch with trends within social media content and ability to play around with them to fit our organizational tone of voice
Interest in clear and accessible communication and visual design
Demonstrable video shooting and editing skills, with the ability to collaborate with an international team
A passion for contemporary arts, digital culture, or arts education
