E-waste Fidgets Workshop
This workshop is perfect for anyone who fidgets, stims, or just needs something to do with their hands (neurodivergent minds, we see you 👀). Not only are these DIY toys thought to help reduce your (eco-)anxiety, they also improve focus, and keep your phone in your pocket!
We will rediscover the potential of discarded electronics like buttons, wheels, springs, switches from old printers, video players, and other e-waste treasures from the local collection point. Then, we’ll turn them into tactile, one-of-a-kind fidget toys that keep your hands busy and your mind at ease.
The workshop follows a one-week residency at CCU where your host Benjamin Gaulon (Recyclism) and Vincent Valery (Internet of Living Things Institute) have investigated connections between e-waste, compost, and plants. You’ll get a peek into their discoveries to use as creative fuel!
No experience needed, just curiosity, and maybe slightly twitchy fingers :)
