Cate Tavagnutti

Caterina Tavagnutti is the Communications Coordinator at CCU, with a focus on the online presence of the organisation. Coordinating the communications team, determining social media strategies for event promotion, and interacting with the CCU community are some of their day-to-day responsibilities. Caterina also works as a Volunteer Coordinator in festivals on digital culture(s) across Europe. They have previously been part of Impakt Festival (Utrecht), A-Maze (Berlin) and re:publica (Berlin), managing volunteer teams to ensure a seamless festival experience.

Before joining CCU, Caterina has consulted artists in Italy on their transition to English speaking audiences. As a Language Consultant for Videomante, a video production company, her tasks ranged from dialogue localisation to copywriting. Caterina also has a background in Cultural Criminology and is interested in video game design.
